Green Smoothie too much spinach or kale? Make a smoothie! A good rule of thumb is 60% fruit & 40% leafy greens. Your smoothie will be green but it won't taste like spinach or kale.
Here's an example: 1 banana (gives thickness and sweetens) 1/2 c. fruit: peaches, pears, pineapple, etc. 1 cup spinach or kale leaves 4 ice cubes 1/2 c.: milk, soy milk rice milk, juice, kefir, etc. sweetener (optional): honey, maple syrup, dates to taste
